Parking is located at the front of the Trailside Medical Building - 6420 Beatty Line North

Parking is a $3 flat rate and is free for the first 15 minutes. 

If you have forms to be completed, please call the office and book an appointment to discuss the form with your family doctor.  We ask that you complete the "to be filled out by applicant' section of the form.  If you are able to bring 2 copies of the form, one blank and one completed by you (including the physician to complete section) this is helpful for your appointment.  Anticipate a 1-2 week wait time for forms to be completed by your doctor.  Form completion is often not covered by OHIP, see here for associated fees. 

The FHT provides many workshops, individual consultations, counselling, dietitian, smoking cessation, and kinesiologist services to name a few.

For most FHT services, a physician referral is required.  Please see your family doctor for more information or referral. 

If you have had recent blood work, imaging or a biopsy done, your doctor will contact you with your results once they are available.  We will contact you by email, so please ensure you keep your email up to date with the office and check it regularly.  

We do not contact patients if results are normal.  You can view you lab results directly through LifeLabs. 

If you have questions or have not heard about your results, please call the office after 2 weeks of completing the test.  

No, Riverview Medical Group does not provide travel medicine consultation or immunizations/medications. 

There are a few local options where no referral is required:

1) Dr. Paul Jones in Arthur (110 Charles St. East). Self refer by calling his office at 519-848-3798 or visiting his website. 

2) Dawson Travel Clinic in Guelph.  Visit their website.

Located in Walmart Fergus, the After Hours Clinic is run by local family physicians.  It is open 5pm - 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday (closed major holidays).  An appointment is required.  Click here for more information.

Please contact your pharmacy for all prescription renewals.  Your pharmacy should then fax or send a renewal request via PrescribeIt to your doctor.  Please allow 5 days for completion of renewals.
